The Theft at the Museum

Here's a short composition based on the afterevents of a theft at a museum  The Theft at the Museum  "Do I gather your name, mister ? ", Officer Russel asked, as he pulled a pocket notebook and a pen. "I - I am Joseph Neville. ", I replied. "And where do you happen to work ? " " I'm a writer. " " This gathering was VIP. Who invited you? " "  That would be Mr. Sereny, of course. " "And how do you know him ?" "Oh! I met him two weeks ago at the Painting exhibition quite seventeen blocks away. That evening, we chatted away at the bar discussing our lives. He seemed pretty amused by my work and invited me over to this show. Runner's Up !!!! Description  : This composition promotes a situation where neither of the parties actually end up winning the battle and the field is left with no one to experience the win, hence named Runner's Up.  Content : General Calling, Charles-O-Three- How good is thy conquest ! "Fifteen down; No one free, The team is at it's best." Fred Hopes dropped, the caller off, his army rushed inside, Fumbled when a grenade bomb There wasn't a place to hide. Face burnt, body disband; Hopes turned his eye Blood wrapped the surface of sand; All his men had died. Across the desert the terrain was rocky, Four equipped enemies showed. Hopes picked up his walkie-talkie, No communication followed. Artillery exhausted and enemies approaching, He hid behind a crumbled jeep. Injuries did him in. He knew it was time to sleep.
