The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) fumbled the first black hole image ever captured and posted it on April 10, 2019. The black hole is positioned at the centre of the galaxy M87. The outline is formed by the emission from hot gas swirling around it under the influence of immense gravity near it's event horizon.
