Tips to follow in College in order to get the perfect Placement : 

1. Maintain your College Profile.

Imagine you are a company ? Now, who will you hire ? A guy who has good grades, was the head of different fests in his college, has taken part in various co-curricular activities across the year and also maintains his attendance, or an irregular, lazy guy with fall grades ? It is very essential to manage a good college profile. It need not be the most overwhelming, but anywhere close should do enough to give you an edge ahead of your rivals. Taking part in different fests and co-curricular activities adds to your CV. Sports achievements matter a lot. These showcase your enthusiasm and the company feels confident about you.

2. Freelancing Qualities.  

A company is always on the lookout of serious business qualities in an employee. They check how much do you know apart from your syllabus. The Freelancing domain thoroughly checks your knowledge and experience with coding, management, foreign language and content creation. You can test your skills and even enhance them with internship courses (of maximum 6 months) from various websites and institutes, and even private companies. The courses available includes ethical hacking, content writing, web development, android app development, graphics designing, product management, digital marketing, foreign languages course and many more. 

3. Coding.

One of the most important attributes that define your future with a company includes coding. If you know the basics of coding in Java or Kotlin, that's all the company wants. Given that today a huge number of students know basic coding techniques, an intermediate to advanced level of coding will give you an advantage. Questions based on machine language and programming is asked. You could also be asked to crack the output or debug the errors in a certain code. 

4. Good Relations. 

A good relationship with your professors and the Campus Placement Co-ordinator will make sure your name pops up into conversation whenever necessary. The companies will think about you and will be willing to work with you. If your qualifications and skills criteria is met, you will hold a very strong position against your rivals. 

5. Good Grades.

One thing that you need to understand is that the companies have a lot of students to hire from, so they do as much to first eliminate the less qualified. The best companies set limits that define that only students above a certain percentage marks can sit for their placement. In such a situation, all your other qualities are unnoticed. It is very important you maintain a good CGPA. Anywhere above 8 should allow you to sit for almost all placements.
