Batman or Ironman: Who is Richer?

If you really think about it, being a superhero ain't cakewalk. Of course, there's tensions involved like life risk and a serious doze of responsibility.  But, what's more of a prime concern to begin with is sustainability. Being a superhero, you will need access to ample amount of money and time by yourself, essentially if you are not a mutant or an extraterrestrial being. Your power, henceforth, is born of monetorial essence, that is, gadgetry. And, believe it, when a Supreme level threat lingers upon humankind, it is the wealth and concern of these gadgetry-oriented supes that plays the major part in saving the day. In that category, two big names amongst many others stands out most potently. Marvel's Ironman and DC's Batman are the epitomal archetype of what you would call genius billionaire supes.

As much honored and celebrated these characters are, they still aren't exempt from the infamous DC Marvel rivalry comic book fans know of. Surely, Ironman is enhanced efficiently and supremely, as far as his scientific smartness is concerned, while Batman has an excellent set of combat and deductive skills at his expertise. While both are practical, adamant, ostentatious, and well, parent-less, they share the stage at being enormously wealthy as well. However, if you have been a comictard since, at some point you surely must have wondered which of these two paragons is the wealthiest. Let this article help you.

Let us analyze some data. Forbes' publication 'Fictional 15', out in 2013, estimated Ironman's fortune at $12.4 Billion, putting him up as the 4th most affluent supe, which massively supervenes Batman's estimate at $3.4 Billion. However, the abstract analysis behind this information shows us a finer area of debate.

Enterprise Factor

Tony Stark has most of his affluency as a means of hierarchy and inheritance from his ancestorial benefits. His family-owned-company, the Stark Industries, is the owner of various small corps including weaponry, artillery and advanced technological innovation. As much as his own expenditures are concerned beyond the company's threshold, he is said to have owned eight different mansions, all affluent and luxurious in their own way, and also quite many subsidiaries. The genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, evidently, both gains and exhaust millions by the go. However, Bruce Wayne's company, the Wayne Enterprises, goes ahead of Stark Industries and joins its sectors exploring the arts, sciences, healthcare, trade, etc., generating more sources of revenue, and therefore enhancing the incoming into his walls. Bruce also isn't as extravagant as Tony, and spends comparatively lesser on himself. However, his awesome sense of pride, as we saw him contain when he bought a hotel in 'The Dark Knight' movie just because his friends were obstructing a rule, brings him to expenditure sometimes.

Supe Organization

It is, as we know, the superheroes in either universe comes together to fight the deadliest of threats that can occur. Pursuing this, an absolutely humongous amount of money is required, which is most often donated by the wealthiest leaders in the franchise, that being Ironman and Batman for their respective universes. Indeed, while Batman is the organizational leader of the Justice League, which is so much a private organization without much of any foreign influence or concern, the amount required to upbuild this was comparatively very low. On the other hand, Tony manages the Avengers, which has worldwide recognition and government influence, therefore requiring more monetary input to uphold. Apart from this, Tony has also invested in S.H.I.E.L.D., and helped in putting together the famous group Illuminati (The one in MCU's Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness was a complete ripoff). Tony has also aided in a number of other government oriented projects about superheroes in the Marvel's universe.

Suiting

How precisely have you checked the suiting mechanism of these two supes? The Batsuit is made of triple-weave Kevlar, which is centered around the chested Bat symbol. Although  highly devised, the suit is subject to wear and tear under high combat situations. On the other hand, Tony not only has a more elegant and resistive suit, infact, he has multiple copies of them, which he names with numbers after the word 'MARK'. His most recent suit was a nanotech one  which made his appearance, and more importantly, his combat efficiency, enhance exponentially. All this required a far better investment as compared to what Batman might have adhered to.

Evidently, as the facts claim, Ironman is way ahead of his competitor, only that his profligate styles of life is a concern.
